Friday 17th September saw the 2021 annual shoot day, held at the Royal Berkshire shooting ground, in aid of the Peter Jones Foundation. Supported with print provided by Empine Group, the day was set for an outstanding shoot day to raise funds to support young entrepreneurs and deprived families to be educated in how to set up a business.
Director of Empine Print Group, Jacob Knowles commented, “It feels as though things are coming full circle, having attended the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy myself back in 2013, I have first-hand experience of the work the foundation does. Their education was part of the reason we were able to set up Empine in the first place and now to be able to give back by supporting these events is a privilege.”
Empine were invited to support by providing high quality printed materials to help attendees, including dragons Peter Jones, Tej Lalvani, Touker Suleyman and Jenny Campbell, navigate the proceedings as well as advertise the money can’t buy auction prizes to the guests.
Event Co-ordinator Shannon Toms of the Peter Jones Foundation commented: “We are so grateful for the support you gave us, and the brochures & social media cards were absolutely amazing!“
“Collectively, we raised an incredible £130,000. This is a significant amount and will go towards providing young people and disadvantaged groups with the enterprise skills and experiences needed to better prepare them for successful employment or self-employment.”
